Ph.D. • Geology • University of Oklahoma
Dissertation: A structural analysis of the Wichita Uplift and structures in the Anadarko Basin, Southern Oklahoma
Ø Using a regional 2D and 3D seismic data set we concluded the structural styles are controlled by the location of Precambrian pre-existing rift-related faults, the mechanical stratigraphy, and a rotation in the stress field during the Pennsylvanian Orogeny.
May 2011
M.S. • Geology • University of Tulsa
Thesis: A structural analysis of the Sho-Vel-Tum Field, Ardmore Basin, Oklahoma
Ø This complex field was mapped, and cross sections were constructed using well logs and 2D seismic data to show that deformation intensity increased to the southwest making it a proxy to Arbuckle Uplift just north of the field.
May 2009
B.S. • Geology • University of Tulsa
Senior Project: Carter County subcrop map, southern Oklahoma
Ø A pre-Pennsylvanian subcrop map was constructed by mapping the Permian Unconformity and formations immediately below it, creating a pseudo surface geology map immediately south of the Pennsylvanian-age Arbuckle Uplift.
